Sometimes it still feels like a NIGHTMARE- CoronaVirus
CoronaVirus has changed our lives completely…..
I would like to start with Thanking all the Health Care Heroes, Security Forces, Grocery staff, Delivery Staff, First Respondents, Cleaning staff and many more for their services to the community and beyond. Its only because of them, that we guys still feel safe during the pandemic.
Until recently, all this just felt like a nightmare…. I would close my eyes and think ….. “its a bad dream…. I will wake up and things will be like they ones were….”
The regular life I once lived, seems like the perfect gift I had…. just wish I’d realize its value and made every moment worth……
Those fearless strolls on street, movie nights, cafes, shopping trips, play center outing with my child and so much more…….. The normal was the real blessing….. yet, I was complaining so much………
Now, with the things we hear and read everyday and scrolling through the news links, looks like this life won’t be back anytime soon….
I shopped a lot…….. online specially….. but now when I see the offers and ads… be it fancy dresses, cosmetics, accessories….. and the reduced prices… I think…. should I buy…?
Will I be able to flaunt by newbies anytime soon…?
I ask all my friends……….”When so you think the CoronaVirus will end?”
Some say by September 2020… some say December 2020… some say Mid of 2021…and some say…. a few years……..Really!! will it take so long?
Every day, I visit the website ‘worldometers.info‘ to check for some soothing news…. hoping that some graphs move downwards, some numbers reduce…. but it just makes me so much more upset… seeing it go from a thousands to now over 12 million cases worldwide…..
In the last few months, the world has become so different!…..
Over 500K people have lost their lives (RIP)…….. and so many more are suffering…..
I have been home for months, cribbing and complaining, feeling so disturbed and upset with this dull life.
Now I realize, I am making the same mistake again……Just complaining about my present……… What am I learning from the news I read everyday…..arghhhh… maybe I’m just finding my answers…….when can I move out normally… when can I find a nice job…. when….. how… all about myself!!
Ridiculous!!…..The news tells me that the life’s of millions of people all around the world has been effected so badly and for few, there is not even a ray of hope left for things to ever get back to as they were until just a few months back…….
And I am still making a big fuss about the only change that I have to make……
