Shatha Hassoun receives a warm welcome from fans at Deira City Centre
Dubai, UAE; 17 March 2014: Hailing from the talent show Star Academy Arab World, the first female to win the competition, Shatha Hassoun made an exclusive appearance to meet with fans and share personal styling tips at Deira City Centre. The singer-actress is renowned for her ability to sing in a range of regional dialects including Iraqi, Lebanese, Gulf, Moroccan, and Egyptian.
Shatha’s visit was part of the mall’s ‘Style Star Search,’ where the three-day weekend staged budding fashionistas in front of a professional photographer for the chance to appear in one of Dubai’s hottest lifestyle magazines. The Top 20 fashionable shoppers will be selected by a team of fashion experts based on personal expression, individuality and style sense, which will be then posted on Deira City Centre’s social media pages for public vote. The winner with the most votes will be crowned ‘Style Star’ for 2014 on March 31st, and will receive fashionable gifts worth AED 20,000, in addition to an exclusive feature in one of Dubai’s lifestyle magazines.
