FESTIVE EVENTS AT FAIRMONT THE PALM

7 – 9 December

Annual Event: The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Fairmont The Palm

Due to COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will not be a public event and can be enjoyed by a prior table booking.

Fairmont The Palm’s annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony will be back from 7 to 9 December. The event is an institution on its own, showcasing a fabulous Christmas tree light switch on in its lavish hotel lobby. This year we are expanding the event over three days where guests will enjoy live entertainment, meet Santa Claus and get the chance to leave with some amazing gifts! The event runs between 4.00pm and 6.00pm, with the light switch on at 6pm sharp, get there early to secure the best spot!

The Christmas Show

An all Christmassy, family friendly, super fun play comes this year at the resort. Enjoy a mix of musical theater, fun interactions with the little ones and some good old Christmas songs to get you into the Festive spirit. Turkey Takeaway

Wanting to celebrate Christmas at home? Let the professional culinary team prepare a traditional hassle-free festive Turkey (or honey roast ham) to enjoy with family and loved ones. Available from just AED 500, all that’s required is a 72-hour booking order and the perfect festive menu will be available for pick-up at ‘Delicacy’ Cafe, ideally located in Fairmont The Palm’s Lobby. Due to popular demand, pre ordering with advance bookings are recommended and the takeaways are available to pick up between 11:00am and 9:00pm. Expect all the trimmings too, like roasted veg, buttered sprouts, cranberry sauce and roast potatoes.

Festive Afternoon Tea and Hot Chocolate Bar at Mashrabiya Lounge

Mashrabiya Lounge, invites guests to indulge into a festive inspired Afternoon Tea over flowing with a range of deliciously baked log cakes, sparkling sweet treats and not to mention, a delicious menu of hotel chocolate drinks! The Festive Afternoon Tea is available daily from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and is priced at AED 155 per person. Hot Chocolate from the hot chocolate bar can be purchased for an additional price of AED 45 per person, 24 hours a day, complete with ‘pick n mix’ style sweet toppings to choose from.

Christmas Eve Brazilian Dinner at Frevo

Add a touch of Brazilian Flavour to your festivities at Frevo, the Brazilian Churrascaria this Christmas Eve. Favourite festive, the turkey will complement the existing meat cuts served tableside. The Churrasco experience will also include a variety of seasonal salads and a selection of Brazilian holiday desserts. Available from 6:00pm – 11:00pm, the Churrasco experience is priced at AED 295 food only and AED 555 including soft and house beverages per person.

25 December

Christmas Day Family Brunch at Flow Kitchen

Families are invited to celebrate Christmas Day at Flow Kitchen with a lavish festive themed brunch featuring authentic specialties including live carved turkey with all the trimmings, seafood on ice, prime rib, foie gras and a selection of international loved dishes. Little guests will be spoilt for choice with a delicious selection of classic Christmas desserts as well as a surprise visit from Santa. Christmas Day Brunch at Flow Kitchen is available from 12:30pm – 3:30pm. Santa’s Workshops

Santa’s workshop promises to be rife with excitement and fun for children, brimming with all the seasonal spirit and the joys of Christmas. Fairmont Falcons Kids’ Club will be transformed into a workshop comprising of handcraft sessions, cookie decorations, face painting and many more festive inspired games. Santa’s Workshop is available at Fairmont Falcons Kids’ Club on 23 and 24 December 2020 from 3:30pm – 5:30pm and is priced at AED 140 per child per day for children aged 3 – 12 years.

25 December

Christmas Day

Fairmont Falcons Kids’ Club will be welcoming little guests on Christmas Day with festive arts and crafts, video games, face painting and awesome group games! Fairmont Falcons Kids’ Club will be open on Christmas Day; Wednesday 25 December from 10:30am – 7:00pm for children aged 3 – 12 years and is priced at AED 65 per hour per child.
