Montegrappa celebrates UAE National Day with a 1971 limited edition pen collection
Montegrappa, a world leader in ultra-luxury writing instruments, is paying homage to the great nation of UAE by producing a unique set of pens. The collection includes a 1971 fountain and ball point pen in sterling silver; 1971 being the year of formation of the United Arab Emirates. Montegrappa is available at Paris Gallery.
For the occasion, Montegrappa has also fashioned seven unique fountain pens, each bearing the emblem of an emirate. And for the very first time, Montegrappa has replaced its trademark 1912 emblem with the number 1971. The 18k gold pens are quite exquisitely crafted using modern and traditional manufacturing methods, and sports UAE flag colours along their lengths.
The limited edition 1971 roller ball is available at a retail price of AED 6,125 and the fountain pen at AED 7,875.
