Get free Manicure on 14th Feb & be a part of the Guinness World Record in the Dubai Mall
Beauty Connection Spa in association with KOKO Nails invites you to witness the making of an official Guinness World Record challenge.
Dubai, UAE – 10 February 2014: On Friday 14 February 2014 Beauty Connection Spa in association with KOKO Nail, will attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most nails filed and varnished in eight hours. One hundred manicurists dressed as Rosie the Riveter a symbol of feminism and women’s economic power will file and polish an astounding 50,000 fingernails at lightning speed at Dubai Mall Star Atrium, to beat the previous record of 2572 mini-manicures, set by Sally Hansen and Priceline in 2011.
The mini-manicures are FREE, but a donation towards ‘Rashid Centre for Disabled’ is encouraged. For the manicures completed, Beauty Connection Spa will donate a loveable lump sum to Rashid Centre which hopefully means a project towards two good causes.
In order to qualify for the record, women will receive a file, a base coat, two coats of varnish and a top coat and men will receive a file and a buff to shine. Each mini-manicure completed will receive a token of gratitude with the one and only Guinness special edition KOKO Polish to take home. Manicurists will be on duty at Dubai Mall, Star Atrium from 2pm to 10pm giving complimentary mini manicures with a KOKO Nail polish application.
