Nicole Kidman and a vintage OMEGA wristwatch at the Cannes Film Festival
The Academy Award-winning actress and OMEGA brand ambassador Nicole Kidman appeared on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival wearing a unique diamond-paved OMEGA timepiece.
This rare ladies’ jewellery “secret watch” – so named because it has a diamond-bedecked cover that hides the dial – was created in 1955. Crafted from 18K white gold, it is set with 50 brilliant cut diamonds and 16 baguette cut diamonds with an impressive total weight of 6.5 carats. The diamonds pave the cover, the bezel and the attachments of the Milanese bracelet. The unusual timepiece features an ivory dial and polished gold baton hands. It is powered by a calibre 440 whose winding crown is positioned under the case.
