AGATHA Paris- Autumn Winter 2013 Collection
Entrechats, arabesques and pirouettes, this winter Agatha draws you into the world of ballet with three jewellery collections inspired by two of the best-loved Russian ballets:
Swan Lake and the Nutcracker.
The Swan Lake line comprises airy, supple pieces in shades of grey and powdery pink. Ribbons and chains combine and form long necklaces, head-bands or bracelets that are both poetic and feminine. Other, more figurative pieces, including rings and chokers, are adorned with swan or wing motifs.
In contrast to this gentle atmosphere, the Black Swan collection takes us into an altogether more sombre universe. New wearing concepts make an appearance: the palm bracelet and the double finger ring…
Black and gold come together in bib necklaces that combine extra-large cabochons and feathers. Chains go crazy in variations on necklaces and multi-strand oversized cuff bracelets.
The Nutcracker: Agatha interprets its very own Nutcracker soldier in his parade costume, evoking the rolling of drums and the magic of Russian folk tales. The atmosphere is conveyed in reds and greys. Agatha is working on a new jewellery concept: the chatelaine that is clipped to a shirt collar, the back of a jacket or can be transformed into a hair chain.
This winter life’s a dance, so put on your dancing shoes !!
