Ruthie Davis teamed up with downtown “it” girl and womenswear designer, Katie Gallagher for SS14

Designer and style icon, Katie Gallagher showed her SS14 collection in a moving presentation at The Raven at 55 Gansevoort Street. Gallagher presented her designs paired with shoes from fellow New York based designer, Ruthie Davis.

The show entitled Bloom features a powder-pink, ivory, and black collection, full of silk chiffon, perforated lambskin, paper spandex, and various hand-made textiles, all of which are complimented by Ruthie Davis heels and platforms in an array of silhouettes.

“Sleek, architectural, innovative, sexy – are all adjectives used to describe Katie Gallagher, and these are all the same adjectives I use to describe my shoes. We design in the same vein and share similar visions, so teaming up with Katie was a no brainer,” says Ruthie Davis.
