Recycle Your Blues – Gap
In celebration of the denim heritage and in line with the brand philosophy of contributing to the community in a meaningful way, Gap recently launched the #RecycleYourBlues campaign with an exciting in-store event hosted at Mall of the Emirates.
As part of the campaign, Gap UAE and Kuwait are inviting customers until 29th of September, 2015 to give their old pair of denim to any Gap participating stores for an exchange of vouchers worth AED 100/ KD 10 for adults’ and AED 50/ KD 5 for kids, to be redeem against purchase of any new Gap 1969 denim jeans.
The initiative encourages customers to donate their old pair of denim, which will be later converted into art pieces for raising funds through an auction, with proceeds given for a deserving cause.
The event saw a host of media and bloggers as well as customers come in to the Gap store located at Mall of the Emirates to recycle their old denim, where they also got a chance to customize their new denim by ripping, stressing, painting, studding and much more!
It was an evening full of denim inspiration, music and styling tips from the Gap denim experts with lots of fun-filled activities for everyone.
Renowned, Dubai-based DJ Mo City played a mix of hot tracks keeping the atmosphere buzzing with excitement as customers mingled, browsed and shopped the latest Gap pieces.
Participating stores include; Dubai: Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, and City Centre Mirdif. Abu Dhabi: Marina Mall. Kuwait City: The Avenues.
