Summer is coming and so is the latest collection from Max which brings plenty of infusions of colours and prints for men, women and children. Lace, tropical, safari, monochrome and island luxe are all trends that can be found throughout the collection offering customers affordable ways to update their wardrobe with the latest trends. Max’s latest offering provides ready to wear items and accessories suitable for the office, getaways, time spent at home and out as well as affordable basics and wardrobe staples.

Max’s 2014 women’s collection is mainly inspired by the beautiful collections showcased catwalks across the world. The collection features bases of crisp white with bright floral placement embroideries, flower-collage prints, lace overlays and subtle neon highlights. Exotic Safari, Navajo Nomad, Nautical Fleur, Hawaiian Sunset, Monomania, Shanghai,Lacy Days and Island Luxe can all be spotted across womenswear incorporated in the summery prints, fabrics and silhouettes through colour-blocking, studs, trims and accents. Dresses, jumpsuits, harem pants, safari shots, skirts all feature heavily throughout the collection.

This season, the menswear’s collection taps into 4 big trends from the catwalks across the season, Tropical varsity, Animal Remix, Mono Varsity and Indigo Tribe. Striped tropical printed vests make a comeback as do neon details and graphic prints. Bandana accents on t-shirts and shorts feature in the collection as do bold varsity t-shirts & gingham shirts. The men’s collection also includes classic basic stapes, polo shirts, chinos and themed t-shirts in a variety of colours.

Kids summer at Max kicks off with a variety of different trends across the summer and Ramadan seasons. Key colors for the season consists of ivory, warm browns, neon’s, orange greens and sea blue in playful grown-up silhouettes like maxi dresses, shorts, polo shirts and cute summer dresses. Animal with tribal slogan prints and mirrored prints are key to this collection. This collection takes on a more geometrical form than traditional tribal prints setting it off with hints of neon and animal faces. A huge surf inspiration influences most of our boy’s collections from traveler, road trip to sun, sea and sand surf themes.

The prominent monochrome trend influences our kids collections this summer. We update this classic trend with varsity slogans and fabric blocking in our boys collections with hints of red accents. Our teen girls are also hugely influenced by festivals such as Coachella and road tripping find fringed tops and denim shorts in ombre pastel pinks and lilacs. Accents like dream catcher prints and webbing back details on tops are key. It’s all about being relaxed, taking it easy and enjoying having fun.
