Marciano Unveils the Fall 2014 Collection and Advertising Campaign
August , 2014, Dubai, UAE– The Fall 2014 Marciano advertising campaign captures the breathtaking RachelMortenson, Solveig Mork, Yara Khmidan and Eugen Bauder in this season’s standout ready‐to‐wear and accessories while evoking a strong sense of elegance, glamour and sophistication ‐ the essence of the Marciano brand.
Guided by Paul Marciano, Creative Director at GUESS? Inc., and shot by the dynamic team of Hunter and Gatti, the images capture powerful, yet sensual poses shot against bold red, charcoal grey and deep blue backdrops that contrast the season’s standout color palette including soft hues of bad baby pink, macadamia white and dynamite dust lavender mixed with vibrant pops of blazing red, sultry sea blue and magenta lust. Beautiful lighting creates a sense of mystery and desire which further enhances the strong, daring and dominant characters.
The campaign showcases the season’s most sought after fashion‐forward silhouettes. For women, evening gowns, pencil skirts, blazers and cocktail dresses in bold retro‐inspired geometric prints, effervescent floral and stand‐out sequins are a key focus. Clean white tailored blazers paired with structured trousers add a touch of sophistication while silk and romantic lace evening gowns add a touch of femininity. For the fall’s cooler temperature, fringe and multi‐colored faux‐fur jackets and winter white vests are on‐trend layering pieces. For men, clean and refined turtlenecks, black blazers and dress pants dominate the collection with a classic structured wool jacket to polish off the look.
