Introducing a very special collaboration between Disney and Cath Kidston

Last week, I  attended the collaboration event for Cath Kidston, The Home of Modern Vintage with one of the world’s most iconic brands; Disney.

This would be a 2 years partnership between the brands.

We are all aware of the lovely Cath Kidston designs and signature prints, but now, many of the Cath Kidston’s collection would include the the world’s most famous Disney Bear Winnie-the-Pooh and friends.

I checked some of the collections in the store and I just loved it. The bags, the mugs looked very adorable. The tiny little artworks of Winnie-the-Pooh looked very pretty and complimented the overall look of the things.

In-House talented designers of Cath Kidston and Disney have also worked their way towards creating brand new story telling designs which shows Winnie and friends at home in the Hundred Acre Wood.

Cath Kidston’s print design team were given exclusive access to Disney’s archive, selecting characters that reflected the brand’s cheerful nature, then integrating the illustrations into iconic designs from Cath Kidston’s extensive print portfolio.

The new prints will be available across all of Cath Kidston’s categories- accessories, homeware, kids, and fashion. The items will be limited edition pieces, exclusively available in Cath Kidston stores and online from the 6th October 2016, coinciding with Winnie-the-Pooh’s 90th anniversary.

Commenting on the upcoming collaboration Sue Chidler, Cath Kidston’s Marketing Director said: ‘We’ve thoroughly enjoyed marrying the storytelling elements of classic Disney characters with the cheerfulness of our brand. The fusion of Disney’s Winnie-the-Pooh characters with our classic design prints makes for an exciting, creative collection filled with personality that we believe our customers will love to collect. We’re looking forward to bringing to life our second collection, centred around two of Disney’s most loved characters, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.’
