Dubai, UAE; May, 2014: The world’s foremost fashion legends will once again celebrate the newest trends in fashion at the 2nd Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience to be held at The Dubai Mall, home to the largest collection of high-end brands under one roof.

The flagship fashion event of Emaar Properties, organised in partnership with Vogue Italia, which catapulted Dubai into the league of global fashion capitals in its inaugural edition, will be held this year over an extended three days from October 30 to November 1.

An unparalleled showcase of the world’s most fashion-forward designers in the Middle East region, the 2nd Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience promises much more excitement this year, with exclusive in-store activation by the 300 plus participating outlets, live music and lifestyle activities.

A high point of the event will be its focus on serving as a platform for emerging fashion talent from across the world, with Vogue Italia and BySymphony.com scouting 20 emerging designers, who will show their works from throughout Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience. Eight established international talents, selected by Vogue Italia, will also display their newest collections during the event.

The first edition of Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience brought together the world’s most renowned designers who have played an integral role in the growth of the industry. The event also defined Dubai as an international hub for young designer talents by providing them the platform to showcase their design skills, thus underlining Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience’s credentials as the go-to destination for new talent.

The talent-scouting competition for this year’s new talents is curated by Vogue Italia, in partnership with BySymphony.com, the Middle East’s home of international luxury fashion online, to identify promising young designers. The winners will be announced shortly.

At the inaugural Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience, The Dubai Mall hosted a fashion show featuring works by eight international young designers, including four from the Arab world.  In addition to fashion showcases by the retail outlets, exclusive fashion creations and lifestyle experiences were auctioned at a charity dinner gala at The Pavilion, Burj Khalifa.

The Dubai Mall is the world’s most visited shopping and entertainment destination, which welcomed over 75 million visitors in 2013. In addition to the 1,200 retail outlets, the flagship asset of Emaar Malls Group has over 200 plus F&B outlets and several world-class leisure attractions.
