Catwalk Fashion Shows for Top Brands at Deerfields Mall

Few days back, I attended the Autumn/Winter 2016 Fashion show at Deerfields Mall,Abu Dhabi.
It was an amazing show which showcased Traditional clothing (including abayas), on trend fashion and fashion wear for young ones.
The show took place at the main atrium of the Mall.
Followed by a wonderful catwalk show, I tried some authentic Turkish food and drinks at Saraydan Café in Deerfields Mall. Saraydan Café is an authentic café, restaurant, and bakery experience, inspired by Ottoman palace cuisine to suit both the sweet and savoury palate.
Deerfield Mall is running the event ‘Style Up this Season and Drive Away in Luxury’ until 15th of October 2016. Festivities Include Celebrity Guests and Live Entertainment. The event would include catwalk fashion shows from twelve leading brands, and live entertainment to create a memorable shopping experience for everyone.
Brands will showcase their 2016 Autumn/Winter fashion and accessories trends, with latest collections from Abdullah Hussein Khunji, Centrepoint, Max and BHS. Customers also stand a chance to win a 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class when they spend AED 300 in Deerfields Mall, while online customers can win pampering vouchers, every day for 18 days.
Opened in 2013, Deerfields Mall has witnessed 95% of its space leased, with more retailers expressing interest in the mall. Recently, the mall has posted double digit growth in footfall over previous year, amid challenging times in the overall retail market.
“As a destination in the heart of the community, we believe in giving something extra to our customers by providing great moments to enjoy. For the first time this year, we are hosting three weekends of fashion driven entertainment” said Matthew Reay, Director Asset Management, Deerfields Mall. “During this time our new mall identity will also be unveiled and customers can enjoy our garden area heading into the winter season”.
Mthayel Al Ali, the young Emirati fashion & lifestyle icon, will opened the first show on 29th September.
Layal Halabi, a popular personality and Emcee  introduced the shows which included collections from Lace & Lass, Black Thread, Abdullah Hussein Khunji, Amri Fashion, Lailat Al Zaffa, Centrepoint, BHS, Max, Sana, Red Tag, Kids Moda Outlet & Gocco.
“We are very excited and thrilled to have leading fashion brands showcase their latest collections under one roof at Deerfields Mall, presenting their seasonal lines in traditional, children and on-trend fashion to inspire local shoppers,” said Lizelle Fitoussi, Head of Marketing – Asset Management & Retail, Mubarak & Brothers Investments UAE.
Swiss Arabian Perfumes, Nabeel Perfumes, Karji and Touch of Oud will offer samples of their latest Autumn Winter favourites to customers. The famous Syrian singing sensation AbdelKarim Hamdan, will perform for the first time in Abu Dhabi live on the 7th October at 9pm, in the main atrium of Deerfields Mall. On the last weekend of the campaign, the mall has also arranged an exciting entertainment surprise for customers.
Over the past year, Deerfields Mall has hosted a number of campaigns and events for the community. Highlights include Isaad Yateem, which provided orphan children a fun-filled mall day; a night souk for Hag Al Laila; and raising more than 70,000 AED during Ramadan for the Special Care Centre, from public donations helping fund a new special needs school.
