Last month, I visited The Face Shop at the Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai.

I have been using their mask for quite some time, they are quite known for the range of  masks they offer for different skin needs.

This time, when I visited they store, I was very glad to see that they cover a whole lot of other skin care, cosmetics and body care products.

Like, they have got this whole section for hydrating, cleansing, firming, toning, anti ageing, men care, fragrances, hair care, beauty, cosmetics, etc.

The Face shops uses natural ingredients for creating their skin and body care range.

Their products are mild and suit even the most sensitive skin type.

I received some amazing skin care products from them and I would like to share with you my review on few of my favorites from the lot.

I would start with the recently talked about Miracle Finish Cushion Foundation from The Face Shop.

What are these?

Well, they are your regular foundations which can be applied effortlessly as they come in a sponge and a compact case and you can just dab the puff applicator and blend it on your skin. I have been using it since almost a month now and I am very happy with the product. 2 of my friends even bought this as they loved the coverage on my skin.

The foundation is very moisturizing and even after several uses, it doesn’t clump or dryup. The packaging and the look of the product is very neat and fascinating.

The Face Shop’s Miracle Finish has a very high coverage and very little quantity was enough for covering my face and neck. Also it lasted for the entire evening. Touch-up’s are also very easy just a little dab and blend completes the look. It has also got SPF,which is a must in this region.

It covers blemishes and skin imperfections and is non-greasy and very soft on the skin.

It gives a natural finish and you can carry it throughout the day, be it at work or evenings out. Its highly pigmented.

The best part abut the Miracle Finish Cushion is that it is available for different skin types/needs and comes in different shades.

Miracle Finish CC Ultra Moist Cushion

Miracle Finish Oil Control Water Cushion

Miracle Finish CC Long Lasting Cushion

You can try out any of these as per your preference. So far, I have tried 2 from these. One is the CC Intense Cover Cushion V203, Natural Beige, SPF 50 and the CC Long Lasting Cushion V203, Natural Beige, SPF 50.

CC Intense Cover Cushion

This one totally covers up your dark circles and blemish and gives you a flawless finish. The coverage is natural and its quite moisturizing on the skin. It blended on my skin in seconds and I din’t have to work it too much on my skin. It has a pleasant fragrance and consists of Rose Oil and Lavender Oil. Just make sure you don’t take too much of the product on the puff at ones. Just take a single dab and work it on the skin gently. To complete my look, I had to apply some compact over it.

CC Long Lasting Cushion

This one provides a smooth and long lasting coverage.

It is ideal for this region as it does not come off or melt in high humidity.

It provides medium coverage and it ideal to carry it in morning and would be intact for your entire day at work. It evens out skin tone and has a very pleasant fragrance. It works best on pores.

The Face Shop also sells the refill packs for the Miracle Finish Cushion so you don’t need to spend on the whole case. They are very easy to fix and you can get to try different coverage as and when you want 🙂

Next, I tried this pretty troll edition of lip color by The Face Shop.

It is the Trolls Ink Draw Dual Lips. This is one beautiful long lasting lip color. I tried the Mystical Red. This one comes in 2 type of textures. One side is the Slim Lipstick which can be applied as a liner or lipstick and the other side is the Mousse Tint.

I love how the mousse tint settles down on the lips instantly giving it a matte velvety finish. Its got a sweet smell and on application it immediately sets on your lips. It is highly pigmented. Just make sure you don’t apply it on dry chapped lips.

Troll Ink Draw comes in 5 different shades.

Next , I would like to share with you my review on yet another wonderful product by  The Face Shop. It is the White Seed Brightening Serum

I have been a big fan of this and have been using this every single day after my face cleansing routine.

This serum blends so well on the skin and is absorbed by the skin instantly. You can notice a glow and brightness on the skin immediately after applying the serum. It also softens the skin and makes it look healthy. It consists of White Lupin Seed, which contains a natural brightening substance, and White Daisy Flower extract, which helps reducing dullness making the skin look fresh and radiant.

After your face cleansing and toning, just take a little quantity of the White Seed Serum and apply it on your face and neck area. You’ll love the instant glow and freshness on your face.

The texture of the serum is light and its not sticky or greasy on the skin. It also hydrates the skin and people with dry skin will love this serum. It will feel like skin is breathing.
