Today, I would like to share with you my review on the new hair and body care line Beyond by The Face Shop.

Few days back, The Face Shop hosted an event at their Ibn Battuta branch to introduce to us the new Beyond range and VDIVOV Makeup range. The event was attended by well known bloggers and socialites from Dubai.

I tried the Beyond Professional Defense Shampoo and Conditioner, Beyond Body Healing Cream Shower and Moisturizer.

Beyond Professional Defense Shampoo would be ideal for someone who loves the fruity aroma as the shampoo consist of Sweet Berry Mix including Cranberry, Blueberry, Juniper Berry. These fruity ingredients not only give the hair a refreshing fragrance but also clean the scalp and hair thoroughly.

I have used this shampoo twice so far and the 1^st time was after a party night when my hair was smelling of smoke and sweat. The shampoo helped me get rid of all the impurities, oiliness dirt and smell in just a single wash. The shampoo comes in an easy pump bottle and it gave me a refreshing feel after use.

My hair is very dry and frizzy and some shampoo’s make my hair texture more rough due to the strong ingredients, however, after using this shampoo, my hair did not feel rough or dry.

This must be due to the natural ingredients behind the making of this range. Also their products are eco-friendly and include no harmful additives and they are 100% authentic. Their range of products are paraben free and they are also dermatologically tested.

Next I tried the Beyond Professional Defense Conditioner

I massaged this on my lengths and kept the conditioner on my hair for about 2 to 3 minutes. When I washed the hair, my hair felt very smooth and soft and it smelled like paradise 🙂

This one also consists of Sweet Berry Mix including Cranberry, Blueberry, Juniper Berry, so you can totally expect a sweet, refreshing and fruity smell from your hair.

The conditioner made my hair feel silky soft and I did not take too much quantity of the product.

Whenever I apply conditioner, I always squeeze out the water from my hair and then massage the conditioner between my palms and gently apply it on my lengths.

I was very impressed by the Beyond Defense Shampoo and Conditioner and I would recommend everyone with oily and dry scalp to give it a try.

Next I tried the Beyond Body Healing Cream Shower

Out of the 4 products that I tried from this range, this one tops the list. It’s my favorite product from their range.

The shower cream is too good. 4 pumps for my entire body and the whole experience and the feel of the product is amazing. The texture of the shower cream is milky and rich. On applying it feels like you have applied a lotion with a  bit of foam. The feel, softness and the aroma of the product makes the whole shower experience quite pleasant. The aroma gave me a relaxing spa-like feel.

The product cleans the skin thoroughly without effecting the natural moisture of the skin. It takes off the impurities from the upper layer of the skin keeping the natural moisture of the skin intact. After this cream wash, if I don’t apply any moisture on the skin, it would be absolutely okay as it does not dry the skin. I could not understand the ingredients on the product (mentioned in Korean language) except that it has the German Mineral Water.

Last but not the least, I tried the Beyond Body Healing Moisturizer

This is a long lasting body moisturizer that totally nourishes and soothes the skin. It is great for summer months too as it does not leave the skin with a sticky or greasy feel.

It calms the irritated skin and the refreshing aroma of the moisturizer stays on the skin for several hours after application.

The shower cream and body moisturizer from these range are termed as ‘Body Healing’. For me, it was a truly a healing experience as the sensation of these products on my skin made me feel relaxed and light. It worked beyond my body and made me feel good and happy.

In all of these products, you must have noticed that I have described the aroma as refreshing………. well this is caz, these products are made out of fruits and natural ingredients and the mix of all this is very refreshing to the mind and soul.
