WHAT: Revlon Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, focused on a floating green liner with a simple lip and luminous skin to compliment the Marchesa Fall/Winter ’14 collection.
“I wanted the models to have really youthful, beautiful illuminating skin and rosy cheeks like a Scottish country girl mixed with a maharaja princess, “ says Westman. “I like the depth and sexiness of darker colors, but I still wanted the eccentric and fun pop of color, so for the eyes we layered a green liner in the socket, this was to accentuate the eye and create an abstract crispness, the models natural lip color was to keep the focus on the eyes.”
