Today, I am gonna share with you my experience using this wonderful skincare brand made with 100% natural ingredients. Sukin.

Few weeks back, I attended the event which took place at La Baie Lounge, Ritz-Carlton Hotel JBR. The event was attended by bloggers and socialites from Dubai.

Well-known personality ‘Ms. Jessica Kahawaty’ was also present at the event and she shared with us her top 5 products from the Sukin range.

After the event, I was very curious to know more about this brand and I came across this video which really impressed me.

As a teenager, I dint really care what products or brands are good for me. Followed by that, I was confident with my young and healthy skin, so I dint bother much… but since aging years started, I got very concerned about what skin and hair products are suitable for me. I have a sensitive and dehydrated skin and using products consisting chemical and synthetic ingredients show good results but they damage the skin in the long run.

It is always good to be dedicated to organic, environmentally friendly and naturally made skin and hair care products as these products are rich in antioxidants and essential oils which slow down the aging process and restore the vitality and radiance of skin and hair.

Sukin is made with 100% natural products and I have tried 4 products from Sukin till now and I have been using them since over 3 weeks .

Paw Paw Ointment (AED 35)

‘Paw Paw’ because it consist of Papaya Fruit Extract. This is an ointment for dehydrated, dry, chapped lips and skin.

So basically, we can use this on any dry rough irritated area of the skin or elbow, etc.

In the past, when I have tried using some lip balms, I have experienced an itchy feel but after using the Paw Paw ointment, I dint experience any discomfort at all.

After using this on my lips just 1 time, my lips stayed soft for almost 2 days. The product is transparent and it’s kind of like a gloss. The texture is little thick so when I tried to squeeze the product out from the tube, It took couple of seconds.  It has a gentle refreshing smell and tastes sweet.

I even tried using this as a lip gloss and it totally gave a moisturized feel to the lips and I feel this one is a must have product for ladies, men, teenagers, everyone. The texture and the feel of the product on the lips is non-sticky and light.

I even used this on my knuckles as I have dry knuckles and this totally moisturized and soften my skin.

The product is Petrochemical Free and consist of blend of natural oils, wax and extracts including Castor Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Papaya Fruit Extract.

Next I tried the  Sukin Rosehip Oil (AED 75)

This is a wonder skin oil. I mix few drops of this with my moisturizer and the feel of this is amazing on the skin. It blends completely with my moisturizer and within few days of use, I felt that this one evened out my skin tone and I also felt that it was nourishing my skin and making it glow.

It is ideal for dry/itchy skin and a must have anti-aging product. By glow, I don’t mean the oily glow, I mean the brightening glow. In the long run it reduces the appearance of scars and maintains optimal skin health.

This Certified Organic Rosehip Oil contains no less than 70% essential fatty acids and has vitamins to help soothe, soften and hydrate the skin.

Next I tried the Detoxifying Facial Scrub (AED 54)

This is the Super Green organic scrub form the range which consists of a nutrient rich blend of Kale, Spirulina and Parsley which brighten the complexion and improve the texture of skin.

This one comes in a squeeze tube and the product is not green in color :P, it is white  cream with small beeds. I used a small amount and the texture of the scrub is like a moisturizer, just that this one has those beeds for scrubbing

I applied in circular motion on my wet face for about a minute, concentrating on my nose and forehead. This one helped my skin get rid of the excess oil, smoothed my nose area and exfoliated my skin, helping  me get rid of dead cells and impurities thoroughly.

After I wiped my face with towel, there was a noticeable radiance and glow on my face J

I use this trice a week.

About the Product: It also consist of natural Jojoba Beads and Bamboo which gently exfoliate and polish, leaving the skin feeling smooth and free of impurities. Pineapple and Licorice Root extracts assists to balance excess oils and tone the appearance of skin.

Some scrubs make the face look dry but this one dint hamper with the natural moisture of the skin. This one left my skin feeling totally clean and radiant.

Last but not the least, I tried Sukin Energising Body Scrub (AED 58)

I would term this as a gentle scrub. The body scrubs that I have used in the past are little hard, I believe that’s how they are supposed to be as scrubbing is something we usually do ones or max twice a week. And more the granules/beeds, the more it helps to scrub off the dead skin and exfoliate thoroughly.

This one has a refreshing smell of coffee and coconut and its consistency is little smooth as compared to other scrubs. However, it still exfoliates the skin but this one would be ideal for people with sensitive skin (like me) but for people who want hard-core scrubbing ones a week may find this product too gentle for them.

This one is made of Coffee Beans and Coconut Shell that exfoliate and revitalize the skin and also it includes Aloe Vera, Coconut, Jojoba and Sesame Oils  which does not dry the skin after use, it keeps the skin hydrated and soft.

It also consists of Rosehip and Vitamin E to provide antioxidants for a healthy glow.

After using this twice so far, I was quite content as the hard scrubs usually leave a redness on my skin for several hours after use but this one helped me get rid of dirt and dead cell with absolutely no redness on my skin.

Also as its little gentle, I dint feel the the discomfort I usually feel while scrubbing.

Overall, I have had a great experience with this brand and I am happy that I was introduced to it 🙂
